“You can do something, but not everything.”
― Ifeanyi Enoch Onuoha
Our Church Street Food walk was a proof of this saying. Six teams all game for a day of challenges, interesting tasks and food tastings at both famous old Bangalore and new age restaurants along the city centre, that even included them hopping into a auto ride as part of the challenges, was the piece de resistance.
Team Orange Peel, The Selfie Experts were ahead of all teams by a sweet 20 mins at all location, and deftly finished all challenges thrown their way together, finally emerging the winning team by a neat margin. The team consisting of a Parsons geek, pilot, nutritionist and design store entrepreneur were the force united to reach the finale before others.
Team Purple Punch, a team of a creative agency HR head, wedding planner and Software professionals inched at second place not too far behind, doing all the trivia questions the best. Team Red Velvet a bunch of enthusiastic Consultants made it at third place, even after getting lost along the way, performing their Master Chef Task cookout at the highest points amongst all teams. Chef Vikas Seth, judge of the nacho making task, was blown away by the taste and creativity of their team in making a good looking yet delicious nacho platter for it.
Team Green Chilli Chutney, a family with a competative couple had an awesome time by celebrating Mothers day in this usnual way, especially lapping up their Icecream Sundae enroute.
Team Lemon Cheesecake decided to celebrate their friends birthday by doing the food walk, and were all smiles when we popped a surprise dessert cake for him to cut at lunch.
Team Pink Berry with the two mothers and 3 Posing boys in bright shirts, never lost a chance to click a Kodak moment at each restaurant along the way.
All in all the food walk seemed to be creating quite a stir amongst
foodies of Bangalore, making food and adventure a great way to celebrate
their weekend, and discovering a neighbourhoods restaurants along the
way.
Aptly as Our Master Chef Challenge Expert, Chef Vikas Seth, said - Bangalore Eats-The Food Walk, awesome well organised concept peppered with tons of special fun moments!!!
